Final: Revisit of the Rule of Thirds Assignment.

For this picture the eye could be drawn to the dogs nose or the line on the floor.
The eye is drawn to the center of the flower.
The eye is drawn to the statues face.

The details and requirements for this assignment were:
Three images that demonstrate the use of the Rule of Thirds in their composition. Each image must be a different subject matter, the subjects could be landscape imagery, portrait, still life etc.
Written Synopsis of the Rule of Thirds as you interpret it. Write a short description of this principle and how you used it in your images. Tell me what/where the focus point in each image is... where is the eye drawn to?
How i did this assignment was I went out and looked for things i wanted to take pictures of. I like flowers so i went and took a picture of a flower and a statue and my dog. What i learned from this assignment is that the main focus in a picture looks a lot better when its not centered. I like how its off to the side of a picture with some empty space. What i enjoyed about this project was taking pictures of things i like and making it look structurally good in the photo. For these pictures the only challenges i had were to get my dog to stay still and getting my camera to focus just right on the object i was trying to capture.

Get My Good Side

Looking at all the pictures i took, i dont believe that the left of someones face shows more emotion than all the other ones. I think that it just depends on what kind of mood the person in and how they convey that emotion. If any one side is more expressive i would think that the front would show the most emotion.  But also looking at pictures and from own experience i see that if a person has bangs or something like that, then that side will tend to be there "better" side.
